With her charismatic personality, the multifaceted Mexican songwriter Gabby Villanueva has conquered the thousands of television viewers who have seen her on varied programs, including Telemundo, Mun2 and Univisión.

Now she is preparing to conquer the Latin market with her first record as a solo artist, "Mundos Diferentes." After a year of arduous work, many sacrifices and a focus on Latin music with her Mexican roots, "Mundos Diferentes" is born. The album, released on January 29, 2008, features many themes: love, love lost, and themes of war, immigration, and hope.

"Mundos Diferentes," the first single to come from the album, is a pop-rock song where the artist describes her romantic hopes and frustrations.

From a very young age her love for music and art has been evident as she participated in plays and festivals as well as traditional Mexican festivals. Gabby studied drama and dance in Los Angeles for 5 years.

At 16 years of age she was chosen to sing with a mariachi group during a festival with the ABC network in the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles before a crowd of more than 6,000 people.

Her passion for music grew as she reached 17 years of age when she made her first professional recording with mariachi, "Los 10 grandes de Cuanto Cuesta el Show". In 2002, she was selected to participate in the reality show "Protagonistas de la Musica" on Telemundo, which gave her great exposure and opened many doors for her in that network both as a TV host and an entertainment reporter.

Gabby's energy, professionalism and charisma have always kept her linked in some way or another to the world of television on the most important Spanish-speaking networks, such as Telemundo, Mun2, Univisión, and Fox Sports en Español. Gabby is also the first Latin artist with an indie label that has been able to rise to the top 10 best rated songs on iTunes Latino, and the feedback has been surprising.
